<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight adjustable to any weight and a method of installing the weight. <P>SOLUTION: Winding means 3 is installed at a place apart from dispenser means 2. A wire rope 1, which is a deformable element, is drawn from dispenser means 2 to which one end of the wire rope 1 is connected. The other end of the wire rope 1 is connected to the winding means 3. The winding means 3 is rotated by first rotation control means and the drawn wire rope 1 is wound around the winding means 3.
