<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container having a lid opened vertically (vertically directed mirror) or horizontally (horizontally directed mirror) with single operation from a closed state. <P>SOLUTION: The cosmetic container includes a container body, a lid, and hinge portions connecting the lid to the container body, wherein the container body and the lid has an elongated shape formed of a pair of opposed short sides and a pair of opposed long sides, the container body has an inner surface provided with a cosmetic storage portion, and the lid has an inner surface provided with an elongated mirror aligned in the same direction of the shape of the lid. The cosmetic container includes a connecting frame held between the lid and the container body, the connecting frame is overlapped with the outer peripheral parts of the container body and the lid, the hinge portions includes a first hinge portion for connecting the connecting frame and the container body in an openable and closable manner, and a second hinge portion for connecting the connecting frame and the lid in an openable and closable manner, and the first hinge portion is provided at a part of one side of one of the pair of the short sides and the pair of the long sides which form the elongated shape, and the second hinge portion is provided at a part of one side of the other of the pair of the short sides and the pair of the long sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
