<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning a U-tube of a measuring cell of a densimeter. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring cell includes: an isothermal housing which defines a measuring chamber (3) closed by a stopper (2) surrounded with an elastic seal (4) in an inside part; a U-tube (1) filled with a specimen to be analyzed and extending in the interior of the measuring chamber (3), wherein the U-tube (1) is formed of free ends which are fixed at the bottom by the stopper and project to the outside from the measuring chamber (3) so as to enable the injection of the specimen to be analyzed via an inlet (6) and the discharge thereof via an outlet (7); and means for vibrating the U-tube (1). After analyzing the specimen, rinsing solvent is injected in the inlet (6) of the U-tube (1), and the stopper (2) fixed to the bottom of the U-tube (1) is subjected to ultrasonic waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
