<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear in a synchronizing mechanism without increasing the number of components, to prevent a sub-transmission from stopping at a neutral position and to prevent a so-called overrun phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: A range transmission includes: a main transmission; a sub-transmission that changes a rotation speed of an input to the main transmission or of an output from the main transmission into at least two stages of higher or lower speeds; a plurality of gear shift shafts 51 to 53 disposed in the periphery of a transmission gear of the main transmission, along a circumferential direction at a given interval and parallel to the main shaft of the main transmission, with a main shift fork attached to each shaft; and a select shift lever 67 mounted on a select shift shaft 66 three-dimensionally intersecting the gear shift shafts, and moving in the axial direction of the select shift shaft and rotating in the rotation direction of the select shift shaft. In the strokes of the select shift lever in the axial direction of the select shift shaft, a stroke upon shifting in the main transmission and the bus-transmission is longer than a stroke upon shifting only in the main transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
