<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface roughening agent for copper-containing material performable of chemical processing having sufficient adhesiveness with a coating material, such as a resist, while maintaining an excellent external appearance, in particular, metallic luster of the copper-containing material, and a method for surface-roughening the copper-containing material. <P>SOLUTION: The surface roughening agent for the copper-containing material includes an aqueous solution containing (A) 25 to 200 g/L of sulfuric acid, (B) 10 to 100 g/L of hydrogen peroxide, (C) 0.05 to 20 g/L of at least one kind of phosphorous acid component selected from phosphorous acid and phosphite, (D) 0.05 to 10 g/L of at least one or two kinds of azole component selected from 1, 2, 3-benzotriazole, 5-methyl-1H-tetrazol, and (E) 0.005 to 0.5 g/L of one or two kinds of chlorine compound component selected from sodium chloride and benzalkonium chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
