<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which is superior in heat radiation and can emit light uniformly and a lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device being a body 11 of an electric bulb 1 is provided with a pair of substrates 3a, 3b of which the rear faces 381 are arranged mutually oppositely through a gap 39, light-emitting devices 4 which are respectively installed at least one on the front surface 382 of the substrates 3a, 3b and have a light-emitting diode element, and a housing 2 which has a lower end opening 22 with the lower end open, is constructed of a cylindrical body to house the substrates 3a, 3b together with the light-emitting device 4, and has a support part 26 to support the substrates 3a, 3b in parallel with the center axis 21 of the cylindrical body in a state mutually in opposition through the gap 39.
