<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of antenna characteristics using an housing part capable of opening and closing. <P>SOLUTION: A portable device (2, mobile phone 34) having an antenna includes: a first and second housing parts 6 and 8 capable of opening and closing; a first antenna element (14) configured by the first housing part; a conductor part (a grounded conductor 22) and a second antenna element 18 that are installed in the second housing part; and an antenna selector part (changeover switch parts 42, 44, and 43) that configures a dipole antenna 28 by the first antenna element, the conductor part, and the second antenna element when the first and second housing parts are under an open state and configures a monopole antenna 32 by the second antenna element when the first and second housing parts are under a closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
