<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain longer service life of a backup battery composed of a secondary battery of a desired on-vehicle device while ensuring the current capacity of the backup battery according to temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The charging management device comprises: a main control part 31 that acquires period-specific temperature information corresponding to a predetermined period to which a present time belongs, based on present time information and period-specific temperature information that is temperature information for each predetermined period at an installation place of the backup battery 2 and that determines the charging/discharging quantity of the backup battery 2, based on the period-specific temperature information and the remaining charging quantity of the backup battery 2; and a power management part 37 that manages the remaining charging quantity of the backup battery 2 by charging and discharging the backup battery 2 according to the charging/discharging quantity determined by the main control part 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
