SLIDING DOOR RAISING SUPPRESSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door raising suppression device capable of easily and effectively suppressing the raising of a sliding door caused by braking force applied to the sliding door.

SOLUTION: A sliding door raising suppression device comprises: a sliding door fixing body 2 fixed to a sliding door D; a device body 3 which is mounted on the sliding door fixing body 2 so as to be vertically movable and which guides the sliding door D along a guide rail L; a reception member 5 which is mounted on a structure and engaged in the device body 3 to apply braking force to the device body 3 midway through the opening/closing of the sliding door D; and a guide boss 314 and an inclined guide hole 233 which, with the braking of the device body 3 by the engagement of the reception member 5 and the device body 3, allow the device body 3 to be moved up and down with respect to the sliding door fixing body 2 and to be pressed against the structure.
