<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain appropriate conveyance speed difference between the sandwiching conveyance speed of a fixing device and the sandwiching conveyance speed of a paper ejecting section. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a fixing device 20 including: a heat roller 23 with a heat source 26; a fixing roller 22 with an elastic layer 30 around the periphery of a metal core 29; an endless fixing belt 24 extended between the heat roller 23 and the fixing roller 22; and a pressure roller 21 disposed around the fixing belt 24. Further, the fixing device 20 is configured to carry out heat fixing by passing a paper, which carries an unfixed toner image in a nip section formed between the fixing belt 24 and the pressure roller 21 by the pressure contact of the fixing roller 22 and the pressure roller 21. The image forming apparatus includes a core temperature detecting member 33 for detecting the temperature of the core 29 of the fixing roller 22, a pair of paper ejection rollers 27 provided downstream of the fixing device 20; and a paper ejection roller pair control section for controlling the number of revolutions of the pair of paper ejection rollers 27. Based on the temperature detected by the core temperature detecting member 33, the paper ejection roller pair control section controls the number of revolutions of the pair of paper ejection rollers 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
