<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection state detection device that accurately detects an injection state and reduces arithmetic processing load. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency component higher than a predetermined frequency is removed from a waveform W detected upon injection by a second low pass filter 33 (filtering means) to extract a supply pressure waveform component Wb. The supply pressure waveform component Wb is subtracted from the waveform W detected upon injection to calculate an injection pressure waveform component Wc by a subtractor 34 (injection pressure waveform calculating means). An injection rate waveform (fuel injection state) is estimated based on the injection pressure waveform component Wc by an injection rate waveform arithmetic unit 35 (injection state estimating means). The supply pressure waveform component Wb can be acquired without using a fuel pressure sensor corresponding to a non-injection cylinder, thereby accurately detecting the injection pressure waveform component Wc indicating the actual injection state and reducing arithmetic processing load on an ECU generating a detection waveform from a value detected by the fuel pressure sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
