PURPOSE: A bulk optical cable disconnecting system is provided to automatically change broken bulk optical cable into a protecting type bulk optical cable by automatically detecting the broken optical cable. CONSTITUTION: A switching head apparatus(30) includes an integration center(11), a non-integration center(12), a walking switch head(31), and a reserve switch head(32). A disconnection apparatus(50) connects the reserve switch head of the integration center with the reserve switch head of the non-integration center. A robot apparatus is optically connected with the disconnection apparatus by determining the disconnecting location of a light line cable in the switch head apparatus. The switching head apparatus uses an optical adaptor, an optical fiber array, and an optical connector. |
