<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gathering-up mechanism for a garment solving the following problem: a garment such as a long-sleeve upper garment or a garment with long under-crotch bottom half is awkward for an aged person or a handicapped person to pass her (his) arms or legs through when she (he) wears the garment on her (his) own ability, imposes a burden also on a helper side and requires operation for gathering-up the long sleeves or bottom; and stockings, tights, long gloves or the like are hardly worn even by a physically unimpaired person and require her (him) to gather up the long sleeve, the bottom or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The gathering-up mechanism for a garment is structured as follows: forming a string hole part 1 through which a string is put in or taken out parallel to a gathering-up direction, at a portion where the garment gets easy to wear by performing an operation for gathering up the long sleeve or the long under-crotch to get short when wearing the garment; and applying a supporting pad for covering creases on cloth caused by being gathered up to make the arm and the leg easily pass through, on a lining cloth, so that the string is pulled out of the garment to be gathered up because the string and the supporting pad are linked with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
