<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat that appropriately holds an occupant when a large impact is applied to a vehicle from the rear. <P>SOLUTION: A loop-shaped seat back frame 13 includes horizontal upper and lower frames 13a and 13b and longitudinal first and second frames 13d and 13c. One reclining fulcrum section 17 is formed at a protruding end 16 of the lower frame 13b. The other side panel 22 is provided on the second frame 13c. The other reclining fulcrum section 18 is provided at a lower portion of the other side panel 22.
