<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof material which waterproofs a portion of a building and also suppresses the breeding of bacteria generated in the portion even if the portion takes up moisture, and to provide a waterproofing method using the waterproof material. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof material is a waterproof material 10 which is laid on the surface of the portion 20 to be waterproofed, and comprises a first antibacterial layer 15 that contains an antibacterial agent and is provided so as to come into contact with the surface of the portion 20, and an asphalt layer 12 that has waterproof properties and is provided at the opposite side of the portion 20 so as to sandwich the first antibacterial layer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
