<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve target value following performance by a proper aspect in intake control including a saturation element with respect to an engine having an exhaust gas recirculator and a variable nozzle turbo. <P>SOLUTION: In this engine control method, from a control amount of a nozzle opening of the variable nozzle turbo and a control amount of a valve opening of the exhaust gas recirculator, a target value of the nozzle opening of the variable nozzle turbo and a target value of the valve opening of the exhaust gas recirculator, and a first saturation compensation amount for compensating the nozzle opening of the variable nozzle turbo with respect to the saturation of the valve opening of the exhaust gas recirculator and a second saturation compensation amount for compensating the valve opening of the exhaust gas recirculator with respect to the saturation of the nozzle opening of the variable nozzle turbo, a command value of the nozzle opening of the variable nozzle turbo and a command value of the valve opening of the exhaust gas recirculator are calculated, and an intake control system of the engine having the exhaust gas recirculator and the variable nozzle turbo is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
