<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate vibration of a seatback without employing a dynamic damper such as a damping mass. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 20 includes: the seatback 22 placed on a side of a vehicle body floor 13; a headrest body 36 arranged above the seatback 22; and stays 37 and 38 extending downward from the headrest body 36 and inserted into the seatback 22. The vehicle seat further includes a locking member 58 arranged to the seatback 22 and engaging with the stay 37 at a specific position in a longitudinal direction of the stay, and the locking member 58 engages with the stay at a substantially longitudinal center of the stay 37 when the headrest body 36 is positioned at the lowest position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
