ICE MAKING UNIT AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An ice making unit and a refrigerator having the same are provided to improve the ice making capacity and ice storage capacity of an ice making unit and to simplify the structure of the ice making unit by arranging a control module on the exterior of a storage room. CONSTITUTION: An ice making unit comprises an ice making room(300), an ice tray(310), a driving module(400), and a control module. The ice making room has an ice making zone and an ice storage zone. The ice tray is installed in the ice making zone and rotated by external power. The driving module is fixed to the inner wall of the ice making room and provides the power. The control module is arranged on the exterior of the ice making room and controls the control module.
