<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pasta sauce which is dressed with boiled pasta to obtain a pasta dish, and which prevents the pasta from "losing firmness" after dressed with the pasta without spoiling ease of dressing: and to provide a method for producing the pasta sauce. <P>SOLUTION: In the pasta sauce, undissolved starch and/or undissolved heat-soluble gum substance are/is dispersed.
