<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system including a feedwater heater for extracting heat from a low pressure steam turbine. <P>SOLUTION: The system 2 includes the low pressure steam turbine 200; an air-cooled condenser (ACC) 400 in fluid connection with the low pressure (LP) steam turbine 200, the ACC for receiving a portion of steam from an exhaust of the LP steam turbine 200; a feedwater heater 700 in fluid connection with the low pressure steam turbine 200 via a conduit 40, the feedwater heater for receiving a portion of supply steam from the LP steam turbine 200; and a condensate pump 500 in fluid connection with the ACC 400 and the feedwater heater 700, the condensate pump for receiving condensate fluid from the ACC 400 and drain fluid from the feedwater heater 700. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
