<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that can carry out printing in a layout that a user desires. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a data receiving unit 6 for receiving, from an external device, an image data containing a first layout-defining data; a storage unit 8 for storing a second layout-defining data which corresponds to the first layout-defining data but is different from the first layout-defining data; an identifying unit 7 for identifying a device based on the attribute of the image data; a determining unit 9 for determining which is used, a first layout-defining data or the second layout-defining data, based on the identification result by the identifying unit; and an executing unit 10 for executing a layout processing of the image data by using the layout-defining data thus determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
