<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-quality BNA (N-benzyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline) crystal. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the BNA crystal uses a solution method including a process of obtaining a seed crystal and a crystal growth process of growing the obtained seed crystal in a solution. In the crystal growth process, the seed crystal is retained by a crystal retentive member at the end of the seed crystal in the main growth direction. The solution used in the crystal growth process is a supernatant solution obtained after depositing the seed crystal in a process of obtaining the seed crystal. In a rocking curve measurement by an X-ray diffraction method, the obtained BNA crystal has a half width of diffraction-peak X-ray intensity being 100 second or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
