<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium excellent in recording sensitivity, heat resistance, water resistance and alcohol resistance (particularly alcohol with 75% concentration). <P>SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording medium includes a thermal recording layer on a support, the thermal recording layer containing a colorless or pale color basic dye, a coloring agent and a binder. The thermal recording medium contains 1,5-(3-oxapentylene)bis(3-(3'-(p-toluenesulfonyl)ureide)benzoate) as the coloring agent, and further contains, in the thermal recording layer, at least one compound selected from 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-cyclohexylphenyl)butane and 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-tert-butylphenyl)butane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
