<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handwriting input apparatus capable of reliably generating character string data having a shape alike the writing or the like and enhancing reliability and convenience for user. <P>SOLUTION: A handwriting input apparatus 1 including an electronic pen 2 is provided to a notebook 30 on which character strings are written in order with the electronic pen 2. Positional information of the electronic pen 2, which shifts accompanying the writing movement of the electronic pen 2, is acquired. A piece of coordinate information generated based on the acquired positional information is stored while being allotted with a predetermined page number. It is determined if the stored character string data include a piece of electric data to be processed to allot with another page number; and when it is determined a piece of electric data to be processed is included, another page number to be allotted to the piece of electric data to be processed is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
