<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reconstruction method of an existing steel tower capable of constructing a new steel tower with a sufficient height and robustness in a narrow area such as an urban district where an acquisition of an additional land is difficult while realizing reduction in an out-of-service period and construction cost. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a connection plate fixing process to fix connection plates to an existing steel tower T; a tower body external surface expansion process to expand an outer surface of the steel tower by fixing temporary members T1, T2 and T3 to the steel tower through the connection plates; a relocation process to relocate strung wires (an overhead power line and an overhead earth-wire) from the existing steel tower to the temporary members T1, T2 and T3; a removal process to remove the existing members of the steel tower T; a tower body interior space expansion process to expand spaces inside the temporary members T1, T2 and T3; a new steel tower N building process to build up a new steel tower N inside the expanded tower body interior space; and a restoration process to restore the strung wires (the overhead power line and the overhead earth-line) from the temporary members T1, T2 and T3 to the new steel tower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
