<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional image processing devices in which: when a document is imaged with an imaging device such as a camera, the document is distorted into a trapezoidal shape by a tilt; and although a document frame needs to be detected to correct the distortion, it is difficult to estimate the document frame in such a case where many linear components exist outside a document area. <P>SOLUTION: When document frame candidates are estimated from combinations of linear components, color gradient toward a direction orthogonal to a straight line is considered, so that extra document frame candidates can be narrowed down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
