摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide receiving apparatus and an automatic gain control method capable of converging a gain with a target gain even when signals include a fishbone effect signal which has a low power period with a signal power abruptly attenuated compared to an average signal power. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus receives signals including a fishbone effect signal having a low power period (FBE signal period) with a signal power is abruptly attenuated compared to an average signal power. A FBE detection section 133 detects the FBE signal period which is the low electric power period based on a gain error corresponding to a difference between a target power and an average signal power of a received signal after adjusting a gain. A gain error correction section 134, in the FBE signal period which is the low electric power period, corrects the gain error by selecting a conversion coefficient of less than 1 and multiplying the gain error by the selected conversion coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
