<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting machine, capable of effectively absorbing oil spread on an external surface of a rotor of the hoisting machine, and capable of stably absorbing the oil even if an oil absorbing member is worn out. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator hoisting machine includes: a rotor consisting of a sheave 1 and a brake drum 2 the outer cylindrical surface of which functions as a braking surface; a brake shoe 3 arranged at a position opposite to the outer cylindrical surface 2a of the brake drum 2; a brake shoe driving unit 5 for moving the brake shoe; an oil absorbing member 6 arranged at a position opposite to an outer end having a smooth surface of the brake drum; and an oil absorbing member driving unit 7 with a function for pressing the oil absorbing member 6 to an outer end 2b of the brake drum by a predetermined pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
