<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of pavements, capable of reducing the damages of the pavements and vibration and noise generated in a vehicle and a roadside when the vehicle passes through the joint of the pavements in the case of inclining and laying the two pavements of different elastic coefficients so as to gradually reduce the height of a road surface in a width direction. <P>SOLUTION: On a two-lane road inclined so as to gradually reduce the height of the road surface toward a road shoulder 5, the joint 4 of an asphalt pavement 1 and a porous elastic pavement 2 is extended obliquely toward the front of the road shoulder 5 when seen from the asphalt pavement 1 which is the pavement of the larger elastic coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
