347,529. Junction boxes. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. June 14, 1930, No. 18261. Convention date, June 17, 1929. [Class 38 (i).j The casing 1 of a junction box has two diametrically opposite slots through which protrude two prominences 3 of a spring. The cover 5 has two corresponding slots 8, the edges of which are bevelled outwards as shown in Fig. 3. When the cover is forced on, the bevelled edges of the slots force the spring parts 3 inwards until they engage in the upper part of the slots. The cover is removed by rotating it thus depressing the prominences 3 beneath the unslotted part of the cover. In a modification, the cover is provided with two recesses extending to the edge and two closed slots. In attaching the cover the prominences enter the open recesses and rotation of the cover then brings the springs into engagement with the closed slots.
|
