<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge control apparatus for electric vehicle which improves calculation accuracy of the amount of electric power which can be stored by a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge control apparatus 100 for electric motorcycle includes: a main battery 18; a motor 16 driven on the basis of electric power supplied from the main battery 18; a lighting device that is a load other than the motor 16 and consumes electric power from the main battery 18; a BMU 104 which determines the remaining capacity of the main battery 18; and the BMU 104 and a control section 114 which performs the discharge control of the main battery 18 in order to supply electric power to the motor 16 and the lighting device. The BMU 104 and the control section 114 allow the discharge of the main battery 18 until the remaining capacity becomes a threshold higher than zero. When an instruction for checking a deterioration state of the main battery 18 is received from an external checking device, the main battery 18 is discharged until the remaining capacity reaches zero, and then, charged until fully charged to determine the chargeable capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
