<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of simply positioning a document feeding unit with respect to an image reading unit, and to provide an image formation device. <P>SOLUTION: In an ADF 300A, a feeding unit 303 for feeding a document to an image-reading position is supported so as to be tiltable with respect to the document-feeding direction. An image reading unit 308 is provided with a positioning member 307 so as to be capable of projecting. When the ADF 300A is closed, the positioning member 307 projects upward from a reader 302 to engage with the feeding unit 303, thereby positioning the feeding unit 303 with respect to the image reading unit 308. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
