PURPOSE: An RFID device is provided to supply a pumping voltage to only a circuit necessary for operating a memory cell or when the memory cell is read/written, thereby reducing current consumption due to supply of an unnecessary pumping voltage. CONSTITUTION: A pumping voltage generating unit(160) detects the level of a power voltage applied to an RFID tag. The pumping voltage generating unit pumps the power voltage corresponding to a clock to output a first pumping voltage higher than the power voltage. A step-pulse pump unit(310) pumps the first pumping voltage when a memory unit(300) operates to supply a second pumping voltage higher than the first pumping voltage to the memory unit. A clock generating unit(150) generates the clock by the power voltage and outputs the clock to the pumping voltage generating unit. |
