摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO removal system that can suppress degradation of a fuel electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In order to solve the above problem, the CO removal system comprises: air supply means; first CO removal catalyst that removes CO contained in fuel gas; measuring means that measures CO concentration in the fuel gas; a second CO removal catalyst disposed at a fuel supply path located on the downstream side of the measuring means; and control means that controls a reaction environment of a CO removal catalyst based on CO concentration measured by the measuring means. The measuring means includes a light emitting section that emits a laser ray including absorption wavelength of CO and being in the proximity of infrared wavelength range; an optical system that allows a laser ray to enter the fuel supply path; a light-receiving unit that receives the laser ray emitted from the light emitting section and having passed the fuel supply path; and a calculation unit that calculates CO concentration in the fuel gas flowing in the fuel supply path based on an intensity of the laser ray emitted from the light emitting section and the laser ray received in the light receiving section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
