<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery exhibiting good charge/discharge characteristics while having an negative electrode containing a material which contains Si and O as constituent elements. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a positive electrode containing a lithium metal composite oxide as a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a separator. The negative electrode contains a material which contains Si and O as constituent elements (where, the atom ratio x of O to Si is 0.5≤x≤1.5), and graphite as the negative electrode active material. Furthermore, a negative electrode mixture layer containing a fibrous graphite conductive assistant having an average length of 10 μm or more and an aspect ratio of 3 or more, and a fibrous graphite conductive assistant having an average length of 1 μm or less and an aspect ratio of 3 or more is provided on one or both surfaces of a collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
