<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer base system and a method for providing driver support information. <P>SOLUTION: The method for providing driver support information to a driver of a vehicle, the method comprises the steps of: collecting images with a capturing device (3) on a vehicle (1); automatically recognizing an object (8) or a situation in the collected image; automatically allotting one category from a set of predetermined categories to the recognized object (8) or situation; determining operation state of the vehicle (1); and automatically generating the driver support information based on the determined operation state and the category. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
