COMPOSITION HAVING PHYSIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells with the easy and inexpensive extraction of valuable resources from Allium known as being effective as a drug as assumption.

SOLUTION: A composition is obtained extracted from Allium with an organic liquid prepared in such a manner that its relative permittivity at 20°C is from 2 to 60, and giving out the inhibition of the proliferation of cancer cells and the elongating effect of normal cells. Since the composition has excellent characteristics and is also feedable even as powder or an aqueous solution, it has possibilities of being widely utilizable in the seasoning correlative industry, the health food industry and the medicine industry.
