METHOD OF RESTORATION FROM TROUBLE OCCURRING IN PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of restoration from a trouble occurring in production equipment that enables linearly acting bearings having the optimal rigidity to be selected when such a trouble occurs.

SOLUTION: A method of restoration from a trouble occurring in a painting robot 10 (production equipment) comprises a step of actually measuring displacements of linearly acting bearings 2 and 3 in time of trouble; a step of acquiring loads working on the linearly acting bearings 2 and 3 on the basis of the measured displacements of the linearly acting bearings 2 and 3 by using a graph representing the relationship between loads working on linearly acting bearings and displacements of the linearly acting bearings; a step of selecting linearly acting bearings having a rigidity suitable for the acquired loads working on the linearly acting bearings 2 and 3; and a step of replacing trouble-ridden linearly acting bearings 2 and 3 of a traveling bogie 20 with the selected linearly acting bearings having the rigidity suitable for the loads working on the linearly acting bearings 2 and 3.
