<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means capable of easily performing graphic density change and image magnification without impairing the rhythm that an arrangement pattern of graphics constituting an image has. <P>SOLUTION: Sizes of a source image and a changed image, the number and attribute parameters of graphics in the source image, the number of graphics to be generated in the changed image and the like are acquired. A graphic density change rate between the source image and the changed image is determined. Second grid coordinates are set in the changed image. Lattice points of each of grid coordinates are indexed. For each lattice point of the second grid coordinates, a predetermined number of reference lattice points are selected, a predetermined inter-lattice distance is determined, and related reference graphics are selected. Attribute parameters of respective graphics to be generated for each lattice point of the second grid coordinates are calculated from attribute parameters of the associated reference graphics through weighting computation based on the corresponding inter-lattice distance. On the basis of the calculated attribute parameters, graphics are generated at the lattice points of the second grid coordinates in the changed image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
