<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce idling vibration transferred to a vehicle body while maintaining an engine rocking inhibition performance, in an engine unit in which a two-cylinder engine is mounted by an engine mounting system of a so-called pendulum suspension system. <P>SOLUTION: An engine unit 1 includes an engine 2, a pair of engine mounts 3, 3 that are respectively provided on both sides in a direction of principal axes of inertia of the engine 2 to support a load of the engine 2, and a torque rod 4 that is interposed between the engine 2 and a vehicle body A and carries out vibration damping of the engine 2 in a rolling direction. In the engine unit 1, a two-cylinder engine is provided as the engine 2, a liquid seal mechanism 8 tuned up to generate a liquid column resonance by input of idling vibration of the engine 2 is provided as the torque rod 4, and a liquid filled system torque rod is provided to reduce spring elasticity in a torque rod axial direction during idling vibration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
