<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner which includes a surface treating appliance, in particular, at least one cyclone. <P>SOLUTION: The surface treating appliance includes several truncated cone cyclones arranged in parallel. Each cyclone is equipped with a relatively wide rigid truncated cone part and a relatively narrow flexible truncated cone part which is connected to the relatively wide part. The relatively wide part includes at least one filthy air inlet and the relatively narrow part includes a dirt outlet. The relatively narrow part vibrates while the apparatus is being used to make dirt drop off from an inner surface of the relatively narrow part and the dropped off dirt is discharged from the dirt outlet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
