<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household cooking appliance which reduces noises at the time of current fuse shutdown generated when a surge protective device is broken by short circuit due to an excessive surge current, and inhibits shutoff of a breaker connected to a distribution board. <P>SOLUTION: The household cooking appliance comprises a power input section 1 connected to a commercial power supply, a current fuse 2, a load circuit 4 for controlling the cooking appliance, and two surge protective devices. A surge protective voltage V1 of a first surge protective device 3a and a surge protective voltage V2 of a second surge protective device 3b are restricted to equal to or under the highest voltage in ordinary time input from the power input section, so that even when either the first surge protective device 3a or the second surge protective device 3b is short-circuited and broken first, the other device remains safe. Accordingly, generation of a momentary excessive short-circuit current can be prohibited, and consequently, generation of a breaking noise of the current fuse and shutoff of the breaker on the household distribution board can be prohibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
