PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of a device that transmits information sensed by a sensor.

SOLUTION: A sensing system comprises a sensor 200 that senses an amplitude of vibration of a vibration measuring object installed underground, and that outputs a sensor output signal; a data analysis device 530 that counts the number of times, in which the amplitude of the vibration is greater than or equal to a threshold value, for a specified time based on the sensor output signal, and that outputs a count value; and a transmission device 100 that transmits a signal including the count value output from the data analysis device to a reader which is installed on the ground.
