<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod type constant velocity joint which makes influence of inducing thrust force small. <P>SOLUTION: The tripod type constant velocity joint 1 includes: a tripod member 2 including three shaft parts 2b which are formed in radial; a roller unit 3 supported by the tripod shaft parts 2b to be rocked; and an outer ring 4 in which three guide grooves 40 for holding the roller unit 3 to be rolled are formed. The outer ring 4 includes, in facing side faces 41 and 42 of the guide groove 40 on a convex curved face 32a of the roller unit 3; concave curved faces 411, 412, 421 and 422 of an arc shape cross part, which transfers torque by having a larger arc radius than that of the convex curved face 32a; and first to fourth projection parts 41a, 41b, 42a and 42b, which project to the convex curved face 32a from an arc extension line of the concave curved faces 411, 412, 421 and 422. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
