The base assembly has a base plate (20) and a seat rail (10) running in longitudinal direction of an aircraft. The base plate is mounted at the seat rail. The assembly has a loading plate (30) that is integrally formed with the base plate. An additional pin shaped load transfer element is provided as a component for fixing the base plate and the load plate at the seat rail. An independent claim is also provided for a method for fixing a base plate and a load plate at a seat rail of interior equipment of an aircraft.
