The arrangement has antenna elements (1) provided around a common central axis (2) in a distance to the axis, so that the elements enclose a cylindrical volume (3). The antenna elements are supplied with high frequency transmission current by supply points (5). The adjacent antenna elements are connected with each other by controllable interconnections. The interconnections are controlled at high impedance in a transmission mode of the arrangement, where a part of the interconnections is controlled at low impedance in a receiving mode of the arrangement.
