Disclosed is a video processing technology that uses a common architecture used in decoding processing and can correct image quality and perform a denoising process. The disclosed video processing device: counts the number of blocks, in a video, for which a quantization parameter exceeds a prescribed threshold; computes the amount of noise in the video on the basis of said count; and adjusts a denoising amount in accordance with the computed amount of noise.
