<p>A method and an apparatus for implementing Virtual Media Access Control (VMAC) address are provided in the present invention. Wherein, the method includes: an accessing device receives an uplink protocol message transmitted from a user terminal, replaces the Media Access Control (MAC) address by the VMAC address in the uplink protocol message, performs the service processing according to the uplink protocol message which is generated after the replacement, and transmits the replaced uplink protocol message to the network side (101); and the accessing device receives a downlink protocol message delivered from the network side, performs the service processing according to the received downlink protocol message, replaces the VMAC address in the downlink protocol message by the MAC address, which is corresponding to the VMAC address in the downlink protocol message, and transmits the downlink protocol message which is generated after the replacement to the user terminal (102). The method and apparatus provided in the present invention provide a method for implementing VMAC address for the protocol messages, and reduce the effect of the replacement between the MAC address and the VMAC address on the service processing.</p> |
