<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a slewing bearing connecting a super structure on a lower structure from being damaged because of a large load. <P>SOLUTION: The work machine includes: the lower structure; the super structure rotatably mounted on the upper part of the lower structure through the slewing bearing 8; and a work apparatus mounted on the super structure. And, the slewing bearing of the work machine includes: an inner ring 81 attached to the upper part of the lower structure; an outer ring 82 attached to the super structure; and balls 83 inserted between the inner ring and the outer ring. In the outer ring, a flange part 82b is formed in such a way as to inward project from the upper part thereof. Between the flange part and the inner ring, rolling bodies 89 are inserted. Therefore, at least a part of vertical load applying to the outer ring is configured to be supported by the rolling bodies provided between the flange part and the inner ring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
