<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data compression device, a data decompression device, a data compression method, and a data decompression method which can compress/decompress data with simple structure and simple processing by using storage means such as a plurality of PEs, a memory controller unit and a line buffer memory. <P>SOLUTION: A GP 2 compares a value of a general register with a left adjacent value, sets a control code for 0 when the general register has the same value, sets the control code for 1 when the general register has the different value, writes data of the general register in a line buffer memory 7 based on the control code, writes back the written data in the general register by a magnification of 2 times, counts consecutive number of 0 in the control code and writes the count number in the line buffer memory 7, writes back the count number in the general register by the magnification of 2 times, and generates the compressed data by composing the data and the count number as they are alternately arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
